Natalie Williams

In an over thirty-year career, Natalie Williams has worked in aspects of the art world ranging from the commercial side at Sotheby’s auction house in New York and London to the not-for-profit side at the Clore Duffield Foundation in London, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. Natalie was the Director of Board Relations at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum for over thirteen years where she stewarded the board through a transformational building project, leadership transitions among the board and senior staff, and several strategic planning initiatives. Natalie continued to consult on non-profit governance after leaving the Gardner, while also pursuing graduate work in Native American studies at Harvard (where she was also class of 1985) and Montana State University. She is also a Trustee of the Boston Triennial and serves on the Campaign Committee for the Bellforge Arts Center (a regional multi-arts complex being developed in Medfield, MA) and the Development Committee of WorldConnect (an NGO that invests in local leaders and community development projects in the Global South).
