Shane Nicoletti is a member of the Witset First Nation in Northern British Columbia, Laksilyu (Small Frog Clan). He is currently completing a Master in Public Administration at the Harvard Kennedy School, where his studies focus on AI policy, negotiation, and governance.

Shane is a strategy and operations leader with experience in consulting, financial services, and business development, including roles at McKinsey & Company and in the banking sector. His work has focused on improving funding processes, building partnerships, and driving operational efficiency.

Raised in a small town and the first in his family to graduate high school, Shane is passionate about mentorship and creating greater opportunities for Indigenous peoples and the next generation. He hopes to contribute to greater Indigenous representation and influence in the federal government, while supporting Indigenous communities in strengthening self-determination, advancing economic opportunities, and shaping policy on issues that affect their futures.

Shane holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of British Columbia and a master’s degree in business from Queen’s University.
